being a paranormal investigator wasn't exactly the easiest of jobs. as a matter of fact,it could sometimes prove to be somewhat difficult, as most people considered it as a mere hobby. worse, a way to manipulate the supersticious and 'less intelligent,' if a paranormal investigator was also involved with the media. but, madoka was rarely ever interested in the media to begin with, unless there were worthy sightings or photographs to check out... which were, 90% of the time, no more than a scam.
which brought us to today's 'investigation.' though it wasn't entirely trustworthy, the twenty-three-year-old still chose to pay it a visit just because... well, it was relatively close by, for one, and he also happened to be around the area after his trip to the convenience store, and-
alright, alright, so he deliberately picked a longer path to the store so he could scout around the place before he snuck back for a more thorough inspection after sunset. but what of it? he had all the right to be suspicious of it, what with its relatively old history and the dampness in the area and all.
and so, he stepped in, convenience store sushi in one hand and some sort of sour soft drink in the other. it was a relatively spacious place, he noticed as he glanced around, blinking through the lenses of his goggle.
small echoes were coming from somewhere within the (seemingly, anyway) abandoned building. lifting his nose, he gave a small sniff of the air, reconfirming to himself the stuffy atmosphere.
up ahead, he saw a faint light source that led into another room. continuing on, the blonde giggled to himself underneath his breath. the noise grew louder with each advancing step and, when he was right by the door, there was no mistakening it; rather than any type of otherworldly noise, it was actually music.
... if one could call it that. madoka stood there at the now opened door, one hand reaching up to take off his goggles. his somewhat disheartened mood took a turn for the better, however, when he saw a figure with multi-coloured hair and... green eyes blinked behind his long thick bangs, "demon," he mumbled, and suddenly, his eyebrows perked, "in broad daylight," a large, toothy grin broke out upon his face and, when the 'demon' showed no signs of disgust or anger, the blonde advanced into the room.
"sushi?" he offered simply, holding up the plastic bag from the convenience store, as though hoping to feed a stray. but then again, demons were weaker during daytime and... for some reason this one didn't seem entirely frightened under manmade lights, either; must be a new type (?) that was begging him to check out (?).
