the drizzle was subtle over akira's newly bought parka. well, it wasn't for show actually, just that she has a lack of coats for the cold weather in her wardrobe. she didn't inform herself with the signal warning from the media, which is strange enough other than walking through a street that's often isolated. so you could say it was late of the girl to hear about the recent news. she still didn't have any umbrella to start.
she didn't leave her umbrella at the studio or convenience store again. which is, finally ensured by her. what's not ensured is that she never brought one in the first place. instead was the parka. thick coats can be considered as an umbrella, until it gets entirely soaked throughout all the layers. hopefully she could find some shelter once the rain starts to pour. and it should go easy on someone with no umbrella in their hands. seriously, it should.
it's already weighing down the amount of rainfall this storm can give away to the city. while there's no thunder or lightning cracking and thumping everyone's ears, the artist roamed around to find at least one shade to stay under. her boots made those 'plop' sounds on a few puddles that dip the pavements in, soaking the lower part of her jeans firsthand. good thing there was no fog, or else akira wouldn't spot the small shade of a waiting shed. she trailed under, hugging herself through the chilly temperature.
soaked. drenched. all in water. her hair, clothes and everything else was wet. lucky enough that her coat supplied warmth to the very end, with the big hint that it's wet as well. she shivered and huffed loudly, standing under her only hope, the waiting shed. "it's cold."
