[attr="class","titer"]THE LAWS OF THE LAND
[attr="class","doodie"]
001. ( RESPECT) Respect is the most important thing on Spectrum - you respect others and you will get the same in return. Respect everyone from members to staff to guests - we want to make this a mature and respectful environment. Any drama should either be handled off-site or handed over to a staff member so we can take care of it accordingly, we trust our members to handle things civilly.
002. ( REGISTRATION) Display name should be LAST NAME FIRST NAME and of Japanese origin - if you are using a western name or have a western last name, please use the FIRST LAST format. Icons are to be 100x100 and signatures should not exceed 450px in width and 300px in height - this is to accommodate for all future skins and layouts. Animangame face claims only. Please try and avoid Mary Sue/Gary Stu or "perfect" characters, shake things up!
003. ( ROLEPLAY) Third person roleplay only, try to use proper grammar and spelling (to the best of your abilities). Since we don't have a word count, try to just match the post of the person you're roleplaying with if you can, but it is not required (just courteous), unless you have talked about it beforehand. No godmodding or powerplaying. If are unfamiliar with these terms, ask or do some quick research on your own. They are both very common terms in the rp world. Although English is not everybody's primary language, we do ask that you use it on this site to the best of your abilities, and will not tolerate other members bothering others for not being able to speak/type English properly.
004. ( ACTIVITY) Activity is pretty important because that's what makes up the content of the site, yeah? Log in with all your accounts whenever you can, and maybe post in the forum games even when you have no muse? Create a new character should you have trouble with your current, but try not to abuse the system; make sure that your existing characters have already been posted with ic-ly before you make more! We will host activity checks when we feel it is necessary. NOTE: If we notice you have some characters that you haven't been very active with ic-wise and you try to make another character, we will politely ask you to put a hold on the biography. Try not to argue with us - it's for the greater good (and that's the greatest good you're ever gonna get)!
005. ( TERMS OF SERVICE) Keep the Proboards TOS in mind when you make posts, both ic and ooc. Everything should be PG-13, including what you send out in PMs. Fade to black in a thread if you need to. Failure to follow this rule will result in bad, bad consequences for putting our site's existence in jeopardy! Images should also be tasteful and appropriate in accordance with the TOS.
006. ( ADVERTISING) Only advertise on the advertising boards. Any attempts to do so outside of the plug board will be politely directed there and stopped immediately. This includes the cbox.
007. ( CBOX) No trolling, be polite and welcoming to everyone who pops in - including guests! Try to respond to guests when you can and include them in your conversation. Please try and keep plotting talk to a minimum, since it can make other people not involved feel left out. Take it to Skype, plotting board, or pm.
