Becoming friends with someone like Hideo is a challenge. He has a very rough exterior. He's impatient, and ill mannered. He lacks trust in others most at first, and he's not the best at socializing with people outside of work. However, for a friend he would have their back. He shows his consideration in little ways, buying gifts, or taking you out for a meal. He has affectionate sides to his personality, they're just buried under all the 'fonts' he puts up. Those that understand that will have an easier time befriending him.

• childhood friends [these would be aware of his mother's death, and most likely understand more so how he's changed and why.]
• work friends other hosts that work at the clubs in town [he'd go out for drinks with you, since they do so at 'work' anyway.]
• employers these people aren't entirely friends with him, but if the person frequently sets up him up with jobs ppl to fuck up and stuff he'd probably be cool with them.
• good influences don't laugh at him, but there are a lot of things he doesn't know how to do despite being alone most of his life. He could probably use some people that would try and be a good influence on him, tell him he'll die if he keeps drinking so much.

There are plenty of reasons to dislike this man. He's rude, and violent. He sleeps around while on the job, and he beats people up for a living on the side. There is no way he doesn't have any enemies.

• the bf/gf he works as a host at the bars and in clubs in town. He doesn't ask his clients questions about their relationship status. Some could have already been in a relationship, and if the bf/gf finds out? Surely they wouldn't be happy.
• anyone that hits on his little sister seriously he'll kill you in your sleep.
• people he's had to beat up on the side he works as a messenger of sorts, essentially being payed to rough people up for disobeying their superiors. Some of these people could very much hold grudges against him, and perhaps even seek him out to 'rough HIM up'.

He's never really been 'in love' with anyone before. He knows that it exists, or at least it has to for some people. He's seen it before, since his parents were in love, but he doesn't think he's ever going to find it for himself. So, he's quicker to turn to one night stands and little flings, fwb, than a steady relationship. His work isn't exactly the safest in the world, so he wouldn't want to drag anyone else down with him either. That being said, he is very protective of those he genuinely has feelings for. He would likely be super controlling, but in little ways, and really jealous, because something better is always bound to come along. God, just thinking about it would stress him the hell out.
