FRIENDS Though work often has his undivided attention Katsuro is a very loyal friend once you have him as one. He's the type of person to help his friends with just about anything, helps that he's incredibly handy with tools. Katsuro is a very patient man so he fits into the role of "peace maker" no pun intended in a circle of friends. His overall calm demeanour makes him a very soothing company, he's not opposed to act as the crying shoulder or the listening ear. However be warned if you take him as a friend for you might fall into a bit of a rut. Picky and judgemental he isn't much for 'new things' or 'sudden outbursts of randomness'. He goes to the same places to eat, the same bars, walks the same road to work every day, he's pretty predictable once you get to know him. He's also incredibly judgemental so be wary of this as well, he will judge everything someone does when they first meet, even the quality of their handshake. Katsuro is a very quiet individual as well, he isn't really the type to simply come out and say how he feels about 95% of the time. ENEMIES Being that he is an officer of the law he is positive he has quite a few of these, mostly criminals he's booked. Katsuro is a paranoid type of person, always seeming to be watching over his shoulder like someone is about to jump him. Though not prone to violence he will engage if need be, and being a police officer entails that he is highly trained. He's also very good at reading people's weaknesses, though most of the time he minds his own business if it doesn't directly concern him. Enemies are a part of life, he doesn't make too much a big deal out of it but if you threaten someone he cares about he will make you pay. He has very powerful connections, you do not want to make him your enemy. LOVERS Again his job often sucks him in entirely but love is something he has pondered over a time or two on his walks. Awkward is a good term to use when a relationship is on early footing with him. He's not very good at small talk and he's almost always paranoid that the woman won't like him. But once things are established and he is comfortable he's a very thoughtful man, buying gifts just to see her smile or taking time to just hold her at night. He's a little over protective...meaning very of course, he's always keeping tabs on people especially the ones closest to him. It's part of his job that's been engrained into his head, there's no stopping any time soon. If some lovely lady does marry him she needs to be VERY wary. Katsuro is an extremely superstitious man so he will reinforce that he cannot see the dress or the bride before the wedding as it is extremely unlucky. Past that he will treat his wife with care and like a lady, after all it's how his mother taught him. |

HIDE && HAMASAKI
Aw man a cap xD Ok so I have a couple ideas about how this could go.
Option 1. They are friends, the sort that get along but then don't at the same time. Hide is more into parties and drinking to relax, while Hamasaki seems different /not into that kind of stuff. Hideo is sort of a criminal tho, ie he gets into trouble quite often. He has this side job where he takes out people that he's paid to. Though he's never had to kill anyone he has assaulted plenty. If these two were friends, /maybe they could even be old friends that way it'd build a sort of connection between them/ he'd inevitably stress Hamasaki the hell out with his shenanigans lol. BUT in return if Hideo caught wind of a case he was on, and needed help bringing in some scum bag, Hideo would definitely be able to do so for him.
Option 2. Potential enemies. Hideo, as aforementioned, occasionally works for some pretty shitty people. Perhaps one of these people has been affected by Hamasaki in some way /by busting a family member, or something like that/ and they hire Hideo to 'take him out'. Hideo tries to kill him, or rough him up enough to send a message, and in the conclusion of the mess Hamasaki could bust him and take him to jail. I was thinking when and if this occurs, if the police are willing to cut him a break, he could be used as a sort of informant for the cops. Since he deals with bad guys already it'd be an easy way to get information, but this would come with much reluctance to Hide. But of course he'd rather be out than in the clinker so, he'd take a deal if it was sweet enough. In this option there relationship would obviously start off as enemies, but maybe after working together a little they could soften up on each other. Hide does have a super sad backstory anyway so theres that lol.

Oh God I cannot get over the thought of them being friends since they were teenagers or something like that! Anyway, yeah that sounds great and Suro would probably come to him on more then one occasion to ask him for his help. I could just picture Katsuro coming to the jail cell that Hide is in, sighing and shaking his head before muttering: "Again Hide? Why do I always have to get you out of trouble?" And Hide is just sitting there smiling away! It think their friendship would be solely centred around: "We're opposites so we keep each other balanced." and it works for some unforeseen reason. I also had this hilarious idea that Katsuro catches Hide before he winds up in trouble, takes him to his place to lie low for a while, and the first thing he does before Hide is even in the door is hold up the kitten he just adopted right to his face and go: "...I need you to help me name her." |

LOL that's adorable. Hide has a cat too. /he likes cats for sure.
But I like that a lot lol. It would probably bother him that he has to rely on Suro to bail him out, so he'd probably act like he could handle whatever on his own /but no one wants to actually sit in holding or be in jail so he'd take it reluctantly lol.
If they've been friends since high school Hamasaki probably also is aware that Hideo's mother died when he was a kid. At that point in his life he was going through the height of his rebellious faze /getting into fights with kids in school, and generally hanging out with the delinquents. So Suro was probably one of the few friends he had in class that weren't thugs. He didn't talk about his family life much to anyone either so Suro was also one of those select few that new about his mom, and that his dad was never at home and stuff.
Then I had this plot idea, for later that sort of involves the same sort of thing from option two where Hide is offered a check to take out Suro, BUT since they're friends if he was offered he'd want to refuse -but if he did it would just mean someone else would try and take him out so OMG conflict and stuff. He'd keep it from Suro obviously, but want to be around him more, hang out and stuff just to make sure no one puts a hit on the guy and succeeds. Hide would take a bullet for him man. |

Suro would definitely be that friend, and he'd kind of sympathise with Hide about the whole parents thing since even though he still has his mother his father is pretty much dead to him. He had to watch his family fall apart so he would be willing to listen (and keep it under wraps since Hide does have his reputation, I'm sure Hide threatened him to keep quiet even though Suro would have anyway). Plus Suro's mom would probably watch out over Hide too, so he wouldn't be without some for of female role model in his life. And that would be a great plotting idea! I could see later on down the line Suro finds out from one of his co-workers who's been working the case on the guy who sent Hide the hit on Suro. They could talk about it and even thought Hide would probably be furious since he wasn't supposed to know they could work together to bring the scum down. |

one sided friendly acquaintance?! emir is a pretty eccentric guy. i think just how he carries himself would turn off katsuro. they're a bit on opposite ends of a spectrum. while emir can appreciate relaxing at home, usually he's out and about playing extreme sports or going to parties after work. i think what wold most likely happen if they met, that emir might pick up on katsuro's routine and eventually start trying to push him to break it by dragging him along with him. i feel like it'd probably be completely random though which is probably even more infuriating. like 'hey let's go bungy jumping with my friends!' and then next week its like 'mmm you look like the reader type suggest a few titles hun' / shot gomen i tried ass/subtract

Oh God he wouldn't even know how to handle Emir, I'd probably be laughing my way into tears watching Emir drag Suro into something he doesn't really know how to say no to. Even if he did Emir probably wouldn't take that as an answer, maybe he wouldn't even hear it and just shove him over the edge anyway. With how patient Katsuro is he'd probably just try and endure it, as long as it doesn't put anyone in immediate danger he'll just go with the flow, he probably wouldn't enjoy it too much but he wouldn't say that out loud. I want to see Emir just drag Katsuro to a strip club or something not going to lie. The sheer embarrassment that he'd feel would be overwhelming! |

emir thinks he's doing quiet people a service. if he takes a shine to them he drags them around and does crazy things with them. but also he's recruiting anyone and everyone for a beach volleyball team. and he needs bodies. no lie he'd drag katsuro to a strip club. at some point it'd go from regular club with go go dancers to a full on strip club with lap dances and vodka. it'd be great, emir would snapchat it and and text katsuro pictures afterwards. he'll love it trust him shhh its ok. including people on what he's going to do that day is his way of being nice to people lmao gomen

Katsuro wouldn't even know how to handle it. He'd just be standing in the farthest corner avoiding the dancers like: "I'm sorry, you're very pretty but please don't come any closer...no, no I-I don't want a lap dance thank you..." He'd be so mortified by the time they left he would run, literally run, back to his apartment and not leave it for the rest of the night and into the next day. He'd never hear the end of it from his mother either. |

I HAVE A CRIMINAL AND I NEED TO PLOT HIM MORE LMAO marty's a conman that like dressing up like tuxedo mask and swiping people's goods. sometimes it ends well other times it doesn't but he hadn't been cornered by the law just yet! i kinda want him to have run ins with the law and get shaken up about it. idk is katsuro would roll with it because he's a professional or be super unnerved at meeting such an eccentric criminal. add/subtract gomen qwq

i really like suspicious kids v.s. cops plots and, even tho technically both of my characters kinda fall under the 'suspicious' category, i actually need plots w madoka more so bear w me bc he's a bit cray-cray. /shot but look at that they're close in age, both supersticious & critical, and they're both 'officers.' well more so suro than madoka but u kno. 8| i think maybe a childhood friend(-ish) plot could work for them?? i mean, suro's technically been in japan since he was little anyway! madoka needs someone to keep him out of trouble bc he just doesn't really fit in w the crowd, what w his alien, spirit talks and stuff. ;; suro'd be one of those people that understand him a bit better than most others and... well idk what he'd get out of the friendship in return but- maybe the fact that madoka is almost an embarrassing type of 'socially awkward' where HE's the one that makes the people he interacts w feel awkward? lmao idk. he's just really giggly and sometimes unnecessarily creepy and probs enjoys it if suro ever accidentally makes a fool of himself but, he cares about suro's well-being, really, i promise. /fingers-crossed also if suro ever wants locks of BETTINA LAURENTI's hair or nail-clippings madoka will most likely try to collect them for him. His name gives me Madoka Magica feels OH MY GAWD! Suro certainly has quite the circle of friends going, first Hide and then Madoka. It could either make him a bad cop since he's 'hanging with the wrong crowd' or one of the damn best ones since he's keeping tabs on all these people and keeping them out of trouble. I think Suro's patience could be just what makes this relationship work, he's incredibly tolerant and I highly doubt Madoka will be able to ruffle his feathers all too easily. Maybe Suro could give Madoka a sense of security? Like he knows he has someone to turn to in times of crisis. Also sorry this reply took forever...my muse has been basically dead for a while now, hoping to change that!
